Hello! I’m Tegan
(pronounced like Megan, with a T).
I’m a freelance illustrator and designer from the UK. Inspired by all-things colourful and chaotic, typography, sneakers and fashion. I collaborate with brands to bring campaigns and activations to life through illustration and hosting creative workshops.
I've adapted and multitasked throughout my career. In my time at The Sole Womens (2018-2021), I helped build the brand as Head of Creative. I managed all creative aspects: Leading campaign shoots for major brands – styling, models, locations and art direction. Shooting, editing & strategising UGC. Designing all graphic assets across social and ad campaigns.
These skills have transferred into my freelance career, since 2021, giving me the ability to work on a variety of creative projects, utilising a range of techniques and processes.

July 2017 - Present
After graduating with BA Graphic Design (Hons) from Arts University Bournemouth, I started freelancing as an illustrator & designer, specialising in sneaker, fashion and typographic illustration. This has since evolved to include creative workshops and product design since going full-time freelance in August 2021.

Mood-boarding, styling, and directing The Sole Womens internal and external campaigns (see here), social strategising and managing the Instagram channel while working with GA and other analytic websites.
Overseeing all creative elements for the brand including; design of social assets for paid ads, liaising/shooting image and video content for the brand and brand partners, filming sneaker and clothing unboxings/presenting to camera.
Professional Summary
ILLUSTRATION
I do a lot of my illustration-based work for commercial clients, bringing brand campaigns and in-store events to life through illustration and typography. This kind of work is used across a wide range of creative outputs, such as large-scale murals & backdrops, event invites, stickers, menus, tote bags, live illustration events and more.
I also won an illustration D&AD Wooden Pencil in 2020.

PRODUCT DESIGN
There’s something amazing about seeing your artwork away from the typical digital screen, on accessories and clothing. I love being able to create and to collaborate on exciting projects like these.
Some of the stand-out products I have worked on in the past can be seen below in the form of swimwear lines, woven blankets (which I have made into upholstery, wall tapestries and ponchos) and 100% handmade embroidered tote bags.

WORKSHOP HOST
I have been hosting workshops for both B2C and internal team-building days since Spring 2022. We have customised everything from football jerseys, simple canvases, plant pots and tote bags.
